“DOCKED AT PORT ORIEL” – ORIGINAL PAINTING

These small fishing boats are used to fish, crab, lobster, and razor clams which are in abundance off Clogherhead coast, Co. Louth. These little vessels are a common site in Dundalk Bay. The image of this fishing boat that is out of the water for repairs at Port Oriel Dock was photographed and then digitally enhanced by Damien to create the finished moody, wintery, black & white effect. It was this image that caught Sinead’s eye and she knew from that moment that she had to paint it.
